Treatment OptionsAt TheHealthyWeighOut, we offer two treatment options:
In our 8-week outpatient program, participants work alongside our compassionate team of experienced psychological, nutritional, and physical fitness specialists in a life-changing, one-of-a-kind experience that transforms people from the inside out, and teaches them how to effectively maneuver through life without feeling overwhelmed, needing to avoid difficult issues – or turn to food!
The 8-week program includes over 67 hours of services. Each 8-week session includes no more than 7 participants; some services are completed one-on-one with the provider, and some services are completed with the provider and the other session participants.
Each week, participants attend 4½ hours of services, which include:
- One 60-minute individual nutrition therapy session with Registered Dietitian (1 hr/week)
- Two 60-minute individual fitness training sessions with Personal Trainer (2 hr/week)
- One 90-minute group fitness training session with Personal Trainer and other session participants (1.5 hr/week)
In addition to the weekly appointments, participants also attend three 2-day intensives at the beginning, middle, and end of the 8-week sessions. During these intensives, participants explore their emotional relationship with food; learn effective coping skills for managing their emotions without food; debunk dieting myths and learn how to establish a balanced relationship with food; and practice new skills with fun, eye-opening experiential activities. The intensives are completed with the other group participants, providing an opportunity for meaningful relationships to form among group members.
Participation in the 8-week program also includes a 200+ page workbook full of information, activities, and resources; and inclusion in our online community, where participants can stay in touch with each other and the treatment team 24/7.
For individuals who are not able to participate in our comprehensive 8-week Emotional Eating Weight Loss Program, or who prefer to address the emotional, physical, and/or nutritional components through a more individualized approach, any of the following services can be completed one-on-one with the provider at a schedule that works for the participant:
